Have you seen the #Bendgate responses to the iPhone 6 Plus that bends? Check them out here: (http://bit.ly/1uwFrwj). Samsung mocks them, Heinekin sympathises: ‘It’s okay it happens to us all the time.’ Lays asks, ‘What’s wrong with a little bend?’ And Amnesty International says: ‘Let’s bend something that truly matters.’
How do you respond when you see shortcomings in others? Do you mock, sympathise, celebrate or look past their faults to what really matters? Jesus offers a simple guide for responding in Matthew 7 (http://bit.ly/1r3gWiR): ‘what you want people to do for you, do it for them.’
That’s the essential message of God’s Law for us. Now to try put that into practice!
