‘Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Tell me, if you know so much … who laid its cornerstone as the morning stars sang together and all the angels shouted for joy?’ Job 38:4-7

Sometimes we need to be reminded – like Job in chapters 38-39 – just how awesome and how far beyond our understanding God really is. Ecclesiastes 5:2 says: ‘After all, God is in heaven, and you are here on earth. So let your words be few.’ If God was limited to what we could understand of him we would be worshiping a very small God. Is it time to get a bit humble and say with Job: ‘I am unworthy, I put my hand over my mouth.’?
