Ever had so much work to get through that you just take a nap instead? Sounds a lot like me studying for Physics.

Often I feel like there’s so much to get through – and so much I don’t know yet – that starting seems pointless.

Next time you have that thought, instead of throwing your book away, try and find your next small victory.

Maybe it’s the definition of chemical bonding, or the population density of China – just focus on learning that next thing, and celebrate once you’ve learned it! And then move onto your next thing.

Studying works much better as a bunch of little wins, instead of a huge ocean of tears.
