Before you simply see off 2013 and head straight into 2014, why not make some time to look back? We are told there is ‘a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance’ (Ecclesiastes 3v4)
I imagine this past year had many of those moments. Why not make a time (maybe with friends, or family) to sit and look back on the year – celebrate the good, be sad about the bad – take some time to end off 2013 well. Then remind yourself that 2014 is a brand new year with fresh hopes and opportunities, mountains and valleys, ready to be lived to the full.
