Proverbs 27.6 says, ‘Wounds from a friend can be trusted, but an enemy multiplies kisses.’ Who wants friends who hurt you?

Surprisingly, I have found them to be some of the most valuable. They don’t necessarily always feel like the nicest friends, but they are among the best.

We so easily shy away from conflict and become those who ‘multiply kisses’ which doesn’t always help others to grow and change.

We need people who will risk hurting us to speak the Truth in Love when we need to hear it. Who have you given permission to do this for you?
