‘Say it ain’t so Lance…:’
Something in me died this week – it was the last bit of hope that a cycling hero whose story had been so amazing was the genuine thing … I’m sad that it’s almost certain that someone who has done so much for cancer research has been lying to us. Sin wrecks things for all of us. Sin – and the death it causes – is why Jesus gave up so much to rescue us. Because of Jesus, sin doesn’t need to define our lives – there’s a promise of restoration and new life for Lance Armstrong, and for all of us.

‘As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins … but because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ …’ Ephesians 2v1-5 #andrewv
