Ecclesiastes 7v8 says this: ‘The end of a matter is better than the beginning’. The most rewarding and enjoyable moments often take time and effort to achieve. That requires patience – and patience requires humility.
Pride doesn’t like to wait. Pride is thinking we deserve everything we want, and right now. It takes humility to let go of our desire for instant gratification.
Ask God to show you where you need more patience and less pride today.
