God asked the Israelites to do something ridiculous in Joshua 6. March around the city of Jericho for a whole week and by the end of it the walls would fall down.
This was a pretty silly task if you ask me – I would feel like such a chop having to do this. So what kept them marching? Hebrews 11:30 says, “By faith the walls of Jericho fell, after the people had marched around them for seven days.” The Israelites conquered Jericho because they were obedient to God and because of their faith in God.
What is God asking of you this week?
