You know when you know you really should step in or step up or say something? There’s a tug in your gut. And you let it tug – until, suddenly it doesn’t. The urgency is over. The moment has passed. And there’s a twinge of regret because you kinda know you should have done or said something, and you didn’t.

We’ve all been there. Maybe today we could decide to be brave, taking Solomon’s advice: ‘Do not withhold good from those who deserve it when it’s in your power to help them. If you can help your neighbour now, don’t say, “Come back tomorrow, and then I’ll help you.”‘ (Proverbs 3:27-28)
