What do you find harder? To say you are sorry or to live differently to show that you are sorry? I realised recently that I can struggle with both. Saying sorry to someone you love means admitting you treated them badly and that is a tough thing to face up to.

In Matthew 3:8 we read the phrase “Produce fruit in keeping with repentance” which basically tells us that saying sorry is not enough. The definition of the word we read as repentance pretty much speaks of turning around and walking in the opposite direction. If you had to say sorry to someone recently, has your life changed in that area?
