In Black Panther, Erik is driven by his fathers “murder”, it consumes him and defines his life.

We often allow the past to define our lives? Our failures consume us; we wish we had acted differently. Or we spend effort trying to relive our greatest successes. How much more would we enjoy life if we left the past behind, knowing it cannot be changed and lived focused on our glorious hope in Jesus. If we fixed our eyes on the certainty of heaven and God’s victory and lived our lives in the light of it.
