When I look at myself, I see a bad person. A person who tries to follow God, yet fails all the time. A person who others might approve of, but they don’t know the real me.

Yet God knows everything about me and sees me as righteous. Not because He is stupid, He knows my flaws. Because of Jesus’ sacrifice, I am pure in His sight. He sees no sin in me.

So we too should see ourselves as God sees us – Holy, because of Jesus’ death for us.
That should inspire us to want to live up to the way He sees us.
