Discipline can be a hard pill to swallow. We don’t know everything and therefore will be wrong every now and again.
In High School, I used to hate getting my maths results because I knew what the outcome was, and I knew I had no business doing maths to begin with. Correction can also give us direction.
So in the new year, do not condemn yourself for last years’ failures. Instead allow them to give you a new sense of direction, whether it’s working harder, extra lessons or finding effective study methods. Be open for God to give new direction.
