It was believed that anything with a circuit board would crash when the date rolled over to 1 January 2000 (Y2K). People the world over were freaking out and exchanged reason for fear and hopelessness. But surprise-surprise, Y2K didn’t destroy civilisation as we know it.

This year has been rough. Many have lost their belonging, confidence, grounding, identity and hope. But as for you, “Do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded…we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who believe and are saved” (Hebrews 10:35&39 – https://bit.ly/3rbCrWJ). So, “press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of [you]” (Philippians 3:12 – https://bit.ly/3aplKRT).
