Enoch is mentioned in the Hall of Faith because he died (or didn’t die) in a unique way. This passage says that he pleased God so much that he was actually spared the experience of death. Instead he was taken straight up into heaven without dying.
Enoch was given this honour because he was said to be a man who pleased God, something that is impossible without faith. Even though this happened thousands of years ago, it is still possible to please God. By faith you can read His word, believe it and obey it. This is how faith can work in your life.
