The heart is the topic of many songs, films, poems, and conversations. We talk about being ‘broken-hearted’, or doing something ‘wholeheartedly’. When someone seems cruel, we call them ‘heartless’.

The heart is the centre of who we are, how we feel, what is important to us, and what drives us.

When Paul prayed for his friends in Ephesians 3:14-17, he asked the Holy Spirit to fill them so that their hearts would be full of Jesus – so much so that it would be as if Jesus lived right there inside them. What a great prayer!

We can pray this prayer for ourselves, but what about praying this same prayer for a friend of yours today?
