You might have heard an older person in your life talk about food or some activity as “wholesome”. This basically means that it’s good for you. This passage speaks about the advice in Proverbs as being wholesome.
Sometimes what is good for us, like food, drinks, or medicine, isn’t easy to swallow, doesn’t taste amazing, but we do it because we know we will benefit from its goodness and it’s going to make us better.
