He is good #covid19

Psalm 139:16 says that every day of your life was known and recorded before you were born. So God is not surprised by the struggles you face today. Romans 8:28 says that in the midst of everything, God works for good for those He loves.

Take heart, God has a plan to take the tragedy’s you are going through now to grow and strengthen you and draw others to Himself. We don’t know the details, but we know His ways are good and will bring blessings, no matter what happens.

May you hold close to Him at this time and see His goodness.

The entire world is in lockdown and we’re part of this absolutely unique time in history.

“You are here life existsthe powerful play goes on and you may contribute a verse. What will your verse be?” (Dead Poets Society). We don’t know the outcome but as Christ-followers we are called to be salt and light. Are we going to live in fear and hopelessness? Or are we going to make the most of every opportunity as the Holy Spirit creatively leads and guides us.

“So watch your step. Use your head. Make the most of every chance you get. These are desperate times!” (Ephesians 5:15-16)

Hope during #covid19

As Christians, how do we talk about the Corona virus and the pandemic we’re facing? Do we give in to fear? Do we run around aimlessly, feeling like life has no meaning and everything is doomed?

Or do we hold onto hope? Hope isn’t wishful thinking: it’s believing in something better, something greater. We have the greatest Hope in Jesus, and we KNOW that He is still at work, still in control.

Who can you share this hope with? How can you bring light to the darkness? Now is not the time to hide – now is your time to shine (insert spirit fingers).

God is with us #covid19

God is with us at all times, no matter where we are or what we are going through.

You may be apart from your loved ones, but God is right there with you: holding your hand, watching your back, waiting to talk. He says “Come to me and I will give you rest” Matthew 11:28. “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you” James 4:8.

Take time with Him and find the comfort that He gives as you sit together. May you be drawn by His love, know Him deeper and rest in His presence.
