Rahab was from Jericho and her reputation was not great. She was a prostitute, a liar, and a Canaanite (long standing enemies of Israel). But she’s the one who helps Joshua and the rest of spies, and in return she bravely asks that she, and her family be saved when the Israelites attack the city where she lives. In Joshua 6:17-25 (https://bit.ly/2FfWlfL), we read that Rahab and her family were indeed saved and lived amongst the Israelites from that day on. Rahab knew the greatness of God, but here she encounters Him as Saviour.
