Guard your heart

I confess, I can be quite a dramatic person. It’s getting better as I get older, but I love to use words like “always” and “never” when disagreeing with my hubby or one of my kids. I love it when the Bible uses big statements. Maybe it makes me feel better about my dramatic moments.

Proverbs 4:20-22 ( is a big statement and it’s so specific. Often Proverbs gives us an instruction and then a benefit of following this instruction. In this verse the benefit is that this will determine the course of our lives. Wow! That is an amazing benefit.
