Every 28 days, you get a whole new skin. The cells of your outer skin layer, the epidermis, are replaced. It’s a beautiful picture of God’s continual refreshing in our lives, making all things new. It’s also true, though, that your one body has to last you your whole life.
Paul explains how God sees our bodies, and why we need to look after them: ‘Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, for God bought you with a high price. So, you must honour God with your body.’ (1 Corinthians 6:19-20, https://bit.ly/2Ij7g5S)
