It’s okay #covid19

How are you guys doing?

We’re living in unprecedented times. I asked my parents if they’ve experienced anything like this in their lives, and they haven’t. We’re living through history here. I want to remind you that through this all, it’s okay to feel what you’re feeling. Scared, confused, anxious. Maybe you’re bored, lonely and frustrated. Maybe you’re even happy, relieved for the time to take it slow.

No matter where you are, know it’s okay and you’re not alone. Reach out to God: He wants to sit with you – now is the time to do it!

Ever been lonely in a crowd? Surrounded by noise and people and activity – but feeling lost, alone, insecure? That’s how Moses felt, leading God’s people towards the Promised Land. He had a big, important job to do. He was man of the moment! Yet he felt lonely and afraid. He desperately needed the encouragement and assurance of God’s presence.

He cried out to God, and God so kindly replied: ‘I will personally go with you, Moses, and I will give you resteverything will be fine for you.’ (Exodus 33:14)

Alone or in a crowd, your God is with you every moment.
