Yesterday, today, forever

Have you heard that saying, “Change is the only constant in life”?
Change is in every area of life. And especially when it comes to us.

Maybe people describe you as a good person who is always honest. Does that mean you are that in every situation always, forever? No, because we are flawed humans – we are always changing because so many things in our lives are always changing.

However, God never changes. He is the same yesterday, today, and will always be who He says He is. He is and will always be faithful, perfect, and good!

Tall Girl

Jodi is super tall for her age, and her peers don’t let her forget it. We watch Jodi’s journey to self-acceptance, standing tall and proud about who she is.

The world speaks a lot about loving ourselves. In Matthew 22:39 (, Jesus puts a spin on this concept. He is basically saying this: in the same way that we worry about ourselves – we are always thinking about our well-being, about what we want and need – we should be loving and concerned about others in this way just as much.

How do you allow Jesus’ love to change you AND those around you at the same time?

I often used to wonder how God could love me when I mess up every day. I say the wrong things, don’t always spend my time wisely and often I see how selfish I can be. I used to feel ashamed, like I needed to hide from God.

Have you ever felt this way?

We need to remember that God sees us as transforming/changing people – the more we seek Him, the more like Jesus we become and THAT’S how He sees us. Jesus died so that we could be more than our mistakes.

How incredible is that!
