Black Widow

We journey back to where it all started for Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow. She has to face an evil she thought she rid the world of, and deal with past broken relationships. We ‘meet’ the ‘family’ she never speaks about. Besides all the deep emo stuff, this movie is packed with action from start to finish.

Relationships are tough. Facing issues with those that are your nearest and dearest is even tougher. But this movie reminded me that we simply can’t live our lives alone. God made us to be in community and surrounded by family – whatever that may look like.

“All Together Now”

Get the tissues, this is a sad one with a very sweet ending. For Amber it seems like the storm is never ending as things just go from bad to worse. She becomes so strong and independent in her struggles of life that she finds it so hard to ask for help and accept help when it is given.

Are you facing a giant life storm at the moment? Asking for help is not a sign weakness.
Or perhaps you can be the friend to offer help and support to someone in your world.
We were never meant to do life on our own!

SIMUNYE

You must cross a crocodile infested river before hungry hippos arrive. You can go solo or team up with the people who have a boat. What will you do? “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together” (African proverb).

God designed us to be better together (even if we annoy each other at times). We are stronger as His body and able to do way more than we could ever do on our own.

“By yourself you’re unprotected. With a friend you can face the worst. Can you round up a third? A three-stranded rope isn’t easily snapped” Ecclesiastes 4:12 (https://bit.ly/2VROafI).

AFRICA

Seba Kaapstad is semi local made up of a South African, Swazi and two Germans – their sound is so unique and refreshing. Don’t you just love finding music that gets you moving.

This song Africa (http://bit.ly/32r6ygk) speaks to the African, highlights the current vibe – which of late can be so very negative. My favourite line in the song is “You will never be alone in Africa”. Community is high on the list of many cultures in SA.

Community is high on God’s “list” for our lives as well.
Us NOT feeling or being alone is important to Him as well.
