For such a time as this #covid19

“For such a time as this” Esther 4:14.

You were born for such a time as this. God knew, before He formed you, that you would be living through a global pandemic. Let that sink in. God. Knew. He is not surprised at where you find yourself.

What can you do with this opportunity? Rest is important, and we encourage rest. But how can you be working with what God has given you, in such a time as this? Are there projects you can start/finish? Who can you reach out to? What will this time mean to you in 1, 5, even 10 years?

Ask God to show you.

Love your neighbour #covid19

Are the people you’re living in lockdown with driving you crazy? You need space but there’s nowhere to hide. Aaaaargh!!

This is how Jesus wants us to love our family: Love cares more for others than for self. Love doesn’t want what it doesn’t have, doesn’t force itself on others, isn’t always “me first,” doesn’t fly off the handle, doesn’t keep score of the sins of others, doesn’t revel when others grovel, takes pleasure in the flowering of truth, puts up with anything, trusts God always, always looks for the best, never looks back, but keeps going to the end (1 Corinthians 13:5-7).

Jesus, help me to love like this!
