#ScriptureMemory #covid19

How is your scripture memory?

I find the more I read the Word, I begin to increase my ability to learn scriptures and they seem to stay in my head. And then they come out at the right time – I guess that’s the Holy Spirit working.

With the #washyourhands instruction, this verse Psalm 24 came to mind:

“Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord? Who may stand in his holy place? The one who has clean hands and a pure heart.”

That’s challenging! Does God look at me and see that I have clean hands AND a pure heart?

Why not use this time to memorise some scripture?

#GetCreative! #covid19

We’re almost a week into Lockdown in South Africa!
How are you coping? How are you spending your time?

I believe this is a time where CREATIVTY will be birthed!
Isn’t that exciting?
How can you use your time wisely?
Don’t waste the hours away! Why not try:

Make inspirational videos encouraging others.
Use your whatsapp status / insta story / snapchat to post positive messages
(The world needs encouragement and reassurance. Why not be that voice?)
Listen to a WHOLE worship song without rushing off.
Spend decent time with God.

We’ve been given a gift of time – use it!

#washyourhands #covid19

Remember when #selfie was a new word? Now the new buzz phrase seems to be #washyourhands!

They say we should wash our hands for 20 seconds. Some people came up with the idea of saying “The Lord’s Prayer” while you wash your hands. Pretty cool idea! Imagine the change we can make by praying every time we wash our hands.

Another thing: while you wash your hands, look at how unique they are. No one else has your fingerprints! “You are fearfully and wonderfully made.” (Psalm 139)

Let’s #washourhands and lift our country and its people up to Jesus in prayer. He is mightier than Corona!

Peace during Corona

Who thought 2020 would be like this?
The whole world is facing a “common enemy!”

How are you feeling about it?

A lot of people feel anxious. And that’s okay – a normal human response.
But I am so thankful that we have Jesus. We can put our trust in Him, no matter how rough the storm gets.

Hear this promise from Jesus’ mouth:

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” (John 14:27 –

This is genuine peace – grab it!
