He is here.

Read Genesis 1:2 –

The Lord has a plan for everything. He definitely can make the impossible, possible.

This account in creation shows us that God’s perspective is so much higher than ours. We all know how God changed the earth from something that was without shape and empty into something beautiful and good. We still reap those benefits today, even though the earth is broken because of sin.

Despite this brokenness, we can trust that the Lord will work it out for our good, because now the Spirit of God is in the world, in every believer. He is here.

In the song “Gold” by Jeremy Loops (, he sings:
“Let’s go walking in the sand.”

When last did you enjoy creation?
When last have you stood in amazement at all God has created?

Read Psalm 19 here:
‘The heavens declare the glory of God’ says verse 1. Creation reveals the majesty of the Creator. God is shown to us in the things God has made. Making time and space to encounter God in creation can tune us into a new rhythm and feed our souls in surprising ways.

Spend some time outdoors today and praise God for His creativity.

God sees us as either a man or a woman.
” male and female He created them.” Genesis 1:27 (

When I was 15 years old I remember struggling with my identity. I did not know who I was, was I a man or a woman? I am thankful that my Creator has shown me who I am – it is found in this verse. I am a man.

Sadly our world has changed what the Creator made. The fact is that the Creator made men and women. This is a good thing. Women are amazing. Men are amazing. But we are different. Difference is a good thing.

Genesis 1:1 (

I live in a really beautiful part of the country and every day something catches my eye and makes me say “Oh, it’s beautiful”. Often I need to remind myself of the One behind all of this. It doesn’t just happen.

God, the incredible Creator and Author of all beauty, is breath-taking.

When we see an amazing photo or picture, we give credit to the painter or photographer. We acknowledge their skills. Today, acknowledge God’s eye for beauty in everything around you. Your friends, your pets, the flowers, the sunset. You.

God has an eye for beauty.
