Forever.

Read Titus 1:1-2 (https://bit.ly/3fgkPDW)

We know that the Word of God has an eternal purpose in our lives. What does this mean – it means His Word is a forever, never ending. Sometimes we are clouded by the troubles of the times, by what we see and the Information Age. Life experiences have a lot to say to us.

But, so does God. And His word isn’t just for now but for what’s to come. Because His promises are eternal, we can trust Him every day. We can trust His word every day.

So, the question is, who will you listen to today?

His plans.

Read Jeremiah 29:11 (https://bit.ly/1nBkYpl)

When driving to a destination you’re not familiar with, you run the risk of getting lost (Depending on how bad you are with directions). But there’s one thing to remember, and that is, even when we get lost, the road to the destination doesn’t change. It’s still the same road even when we get off it, or can’t find it.

That’s how it is with God’s plan for our lives. Though life may throw curveballs our way, and we may get lost in it all, the Lord’s plan for our lives isn’t lost – His plan will happen.

Work on yourself

If we are going to be a light for Jesus that means we have to be intentional about who we are, about our character, and see what areas we need to work on to be more like Jesus.

Often people around us will point out areas within ourselves that we need to work on (which can be tough to take), but we also need to check what the Word says about who we need to be.

We need to be like Jesus. Read and follow His Word. Allow the Holy Spirit to transform us. Work on ourselves so that we can represent Jesus. We all need to.

Going the extra mile

As Christians, are we going the extra mile to help other people? How much are we willing to do to help another person? I think as Christians we need to be the most helpful to others, always striving to go the extra mile!

Jesus went above the extra mile – He saved us by dying for us and rising again! He gave His life for us. He gave everything for us.

Also, remember that God will guide you in what He wants you to do (more on this next week).
How can you go the extra mile to help someone this week?
