Graves to Gardens.

You turn graves into gardens. This is a line from the song “Graves into Gardens” by Elevation Worship. It reminds me of the story of Lazarus found in John 11:1-44 (https://bit.ly/34bn1XR). Lazarus’ death literally looked like a dead situation, but Jesus saw otherwise.

If you’re in a situation that seems dead and without hope, trust in God. He can and will turn your grave into a garden. A garden filled with flowers of joy, strength, and a deeper love for Him. Are you willing to trust Him to turn your grave into a garden?

Inside Out

Psalm34:17-18 (https://bit.ly/2YwVBL5)
“The righteous cry out, and the lord hears them, He delivers them from all their troubles. The lord is close to the broken hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit”.

The movie “Inside Out” consists of many different emotions that helps the human react to certain situations e.g. joy, disgust, fear, anger etc. Sadness is not really wanted around, but they discover that in the end, sometimes it’s okay to be sad!

Even in our sad moments, we have hope. Our Saviour is close to us and is so ready to help in healing and comforting us. Allow Him to.

Hope during #covid19

As Christians, how do we talk about the Corona virus and the pandemic we’re facing? Do we give in to fear? Do we run around aimlessly, feeling like life has no meaning and everything is doomed?

Or do we hold onto hope? Hope isn’t wishful thinking: it’s believing in something better, something greater. We have the greatest Hope in Jesus, and we KNOW that He is still at work, still in control.

Who can you share this hope with? How can you bring light to the darkness? Now is not the time to hide – now is your time to shine (insert spirit fingers).

Beauty from mess

You don’t have to have lived very long to know our planet is seriously messed up. People and places and the way life rolls – it all reminds us daily that sin broke the world and we’re a mess. If that were the end of the story, there would be no hope, and no point to living.

BUT GOD! Listen to David’s song of gratitude and confidence in a good and perfect God who makes life worth living: ‘God’s way is perfect. All the LORD’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection.’ (Psalm 18:30). That’s good news!
