Beauty from the rubble

When we look at our lives, we might only see a field of broken buildings that were once standing; piles of rubble, unstable foundations. You might not see hope coming from it.

But let me tell you what. God sees potential.

Allow Him to be your foundation, and from there everything will begin to fall into place. You’re never too broken, too far gone or even too sinful for God. He sees potential where we sometimes can’t.

He can rebuild the broken parts of our lives. He can clean up the rubble taking up space. He’ll make masterpieces out of the brokenness, in His time.

Our constant sins can make us feel like a failure – why can’t we follow God right.
If that is you – consider this.

An artist starts with an ugly block of clay and turns it into a magnificent sculpture. Until complete, you can’t see it, but the artist can. God is working on you too. He sees the finished result. His Holy Spirit is working in you to make a masterpiece.

You are a work in progress. The job is not finished yet.
You may fail – but that’s OK – God is still redefining you.
See the finished product that God sees in you and keep working towards that.
