Passion and excitement.

How does your heart feel when you think about God?
Does it leap for joy or do nothing?

The guy in Psalm 9:1-2 ( is so excited by what God has done, they can’t stop talking about it. Their love for God makes them break into song praising Him. Their passion for God motivates them. Their heart is burdened that others would know His greatness.

How can you develop the same passion and excitement for God? If you get to know Him better and remember all the wonders He has done, you will find that joy rising in your heart. Lord, grow a passion to praise your name.

I’m convinced that my son will become a greater man than me. I’m like a David of old who conquers kingdoms. He’s like Solomon who unites kingdoms through the wisdom of God. God has designed/wired/put-him-together like that.

When Jesus said that “I have come that they [you] may have life, and have it to the full” (John 10:10), it means that you’re designed to live a life of eternal importance – not to simply exist – not just making it through the day.

The devil comes to rob you of your purpose and passion. Jesus calls you to that special place where His purpose and your passion meet.
