Praise God always!

The biggest boy band in history, BTS just released a catchy little tune called ‘Permission to Dance’ (https://bit.ly/37U72Qj). In the chorus they sing, ‘we don’t need permission to dance’. The video is a cool reminder that even with the coronavirus stopping us from doing a lot of things that we’re used to, there is still life to be lived, so dance if you wanna!

God’s Word reminds us that in whatever circumstance we are in, we can praise Him. We can do this because we know that He is in charge of everything, and we can trust Him with our lives.

Praises.

Have you ever been part of a group project where you got up and praised God, or applauded the leader(s)?

Read Nehemiah 9:5-8 (https://bit.ly/2SgOe6h)

God’s people were called to “stand up and praise the Lord your God, who is from everlasting to everlasting”. They praised God for the characteristics He had shown, as well as His works. They continue for the rest of the chapter!

Inspirational hey?!

How about you praise God’s work and the characteristics He has shown in your life? Praising God deepens our memory, knowledge and understanding of Him.

It increases our faith as well!

,

What (or who) do you worship or express praise to?
Do you adore certain pop stars or bands? Maybe a fashion model or someone you know?

Isaiah 40:12-18 declares how amazing and massive God is!
Our God is beyond compare!

He is uncontainable, and as Chris Tomlin writes in his worship song, He is ‘Indescribable’. No-one is like our God, He is amazing and He alone is worthy of all our praise. That is worship – ‘worth-ship’. Give praise to God for who He is, what He means to you, and what He has done in your life!
