God invites and welcomes your questions.

Sadly, this might often not feel like it is true as many churches don’t seem to have space for people who doubt or ask questions. Yet the Bible is full of them.

From Abraham asking God if he would save Sodom if God found enough believers there, to the beautiful story of Nicodemus in John 3 ( where he asks Jesus, “Rabbi, we know you are a teacher who has come from God. For no-one could perform the miraculous signs you are doing if God were not with him.”

Our faith is meant to be about engagement with God, so don’t be afraid to take your questions and even your doubts to God.

Knowing God through the Bible

A.W Tozer says, “What comes to our mind when we think about God is the most important thing about us.” When you think about God and who He is, what are some of the questions you ask about Him?
A few of my questions are “Who is God?”, “What does He do all day?”, “What’s great about Him?”, “Why did He create the world?”.

I am so thankful that we have the Bible to teach us, show us, and help us get to know God and answer the questions we have about Him.
Spend some time this week looking for verses that speak about who God is.
