Feeling weak?

We were never meant to live this life in and with our own strength. Eventually our own strength runs out and we’re left feeling tired, weak, overwhelmed.
God knows this about us. It’s how He made us. We were made to lean on Him for ALL that we need.

What He wants us to know about Him is that He gives us strength and power to “walk and not grow weak, to run and not get tired, to fly as high as eagles”!
His strength is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9 –

She had to hide who she really was in order to save her father from having to fight in battle. But you also realise that she didn’t want to be that girly girl, she wanted to be a warrior. By the end of the movie, after facing a lot, she’s braver, bolder and more courageous than ever.

Some of us go through more challenges in life than others but the purpose of the challenge is the same = GROWTH. God wants us living brave, bold, and courageous lives for Him. He wants us to persevere and push through – all the while relying on Him fully.

Graves to Gardens.

You turn graves into gardens. This is a line from the song “Graves into Gardens” by Elevation Worship. It reminds me of the story of Lazarus found in John 11:1-44 ( Lazarus’ death literally looked like a dead situation, but Jesus saw otherwise.

If you’re in a situation that seems dead and without hope, trust in God. He can and will turn your grave into a garden. A garden filled with flowers of joy, strength, and a deeper love for Him. Are you willing to trust Him to turn your grave into a garden?

Wig snatched!

In movies and real life, a crisis reveals the shocking truth about people (like a wig snatched off someone’s head). Gasp! It’s interesting to see who acts heroically, who falls apart and who selfishly only saves themselves.

“If you fall to pieces in a crisis, there wasn’t much to you in the first place.” (Proverbs 24:10 – We are children of the Most High God. The Holy Spirit lives inside us. We are supernaturally strengthened, empowered and equipped. So remember that next time you find yourself in a crisis. Stand firm. You and God have got this!
