Graves to Gardens.

You turn graves into gardens. This is a line from the song “Graves into Gardens” by Elevation Worship. It reminds me of the story of Lazarus found in John 11:1-44 (https://bit.ly/34bn1XR). Lazarus’ death literally looked like a dead situation, but Jesus saw otherwise.

If you’re in a situation that seems dead and without hope, trust in God. He can and will turn your grave into a garden. A garden filled with flowers of joy, strength, and a deeper love for Him. Are you willing to trust Him to turn your grave into a garden?

Wig snatched!

In movies and real life, a crisis reveals the shocking truth about people (like a wig snatched off someone’s head). Gasp! It’s interesting to see who acts heroically, who falls apart and who selfishly only saves themselves.

“If you fall to pieces in a crisis, there wasn’t much to you in the first place.” (Proverbs 24:10 – http://bit.ly/3166uBx). We are children of the Most High God. The Holy Spirit lives inside us. We are supernaturally strengthened, empowered and equipped. So remember that next time you find yourself in a crisis. Stand firm. You and God have got this!

Fear of Failing…

No one loves to fail at things – we want to be winning at life all the time. For some of us though, the fear of failure stops us from even trying. Is this you? Are you afraid to do something you know you will love because you fear you may fail at it?

Proverbs 31 is a Proverb about the godly woman – but I think verse 25 (http://bit.ly/2J5Gij2) can be applied to both guys and girls. This is the way God wants us to live, not in fear of the future (what might or might NOT happen) but walking boldly through life in His strength.

How can you let go of fear and walk in His strength today?

Bastille – Joy

http://bit.ly/2YW9TS8

Mental Health is spoken about a lot these days.
For many, it’s a real struggle. For others, they seem to have “jumped on the band wagon” and believe a lie about themselves.

But what I am hopeful about is that popular bands like Bastille are addressing the issue.

“Oh Joy, when you call me
I was giving up, oh, I was giving in
Joy, set my mind free
I was giving up, oh, I was giving in”

We can look at the dark and disappointing things. Or we can welcome in Joy.

Read Nehemiah 8:10 (http://bit.ly/2YYTtZ9)
Hold onto God’s joy. Focus on it. Live in it.
