‘Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.’

How awesome is that!? Have you ever thought about what you are going through and then asked, is this bigger than God? Sometimes things are so hard that it seems like God is not there, like he’s abandoned us. But the promise he has made is that he will always be there with you, in the troubles and in the joys!

Could you lean on this promise for where you are now?

Being a teenager is hard. Are you ever tempted to say: ‘this is actually TOO hard, wake me up when it’s all over’?

Don’t do it! We are changed by the journeys we are on. Being mature comes only from the messy, painful process of maturing. David said in Psalm 16v8: ‘I have set the Lord, always, before me. Because he is at my right hand I will not be shaken.’

Keep God in sight, live boldly, stay wide awake.
